Rocky River, OH Job Details $17 - $18 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Recreation therapy Music activities for care recipients Sensory activity facilitation Customer service Resident hobbies assistance Working with seniors Older adults Wellness activities for care recipients Fitness activities for care recipients Communication skills Entry level Coordinating resident events Full Job Description Work seamlessly with Activities Director, staff, families and residents to provide a well-rounded activities program based on the recommendations from The National Certification Council for Activities Professions & with current federal, state and local standards. This will include a wide variety of programs categories include a wide variety of programs categories including music, art, programs. memory groups, sensory programs, exercise, games. Lead recreational activities and programs that stimulate the physical, psychosocial, affective and cogitative domains. Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, senior living, or customer service is preferred but not required. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic when working with older adults. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
