Activities Assistant

Rosary Care Center, located on the grounds of the Sisters of St. Francis, is currently seeking a part-time Activity Assistant. As our campus continues to grow, we are seeking individuals who have a genuine passion in caring for our residents. Job Summary The Activities Assistant provides individual and group activities appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident to promote well-being and quality of life. The Activities Assistant will participate in holistic care through activities to help care for our elderly . Assists and implements activities. Visits room-bound residents one-on-one on a daily basis. Orchestrates common area resident centered activities. Prior experience in recreational therapy, Long term care or working with individuals that have dementia preffered. Requirements - Candidate preferably would have at least 1 years experience conducting life enriching activities with the elderly and those with cognition or memory issues. - Candidate must be able to work independently and be reliable.
