  • We are seeking a highly motivated and organized
  • Activities Coordinator
  • to join our dedicated team at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Honeytown in Wooster, OH.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging recreational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being among our residents.   • Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and lead daily recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, entertainment events, and outdoor excursions
  • Develop and implement individualized activity plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of our residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure activities align with residents' medical and rehabilitation goals
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident feedback, and outcome measures
  • Supervise and guide activity assistants and volunteers to ensure activities are conducted safely and effectively
  • Develop and implement special events, such as holiday celebrations, theme days, and cultural festivals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activity programming and dementia care
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in activity coordination or a related field; experience working with seniors and individuals with dementia preferred
