Summer Camp Counselor National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics Eugene, OR Job Details Part-time $15.55 - $17.00 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Working with children Working with students Gymnastics Teaching Camp experience Full Job Description Summer Camp Counselor/Coach (Part-Time/Flexible) We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and positive Summer Camp Coach to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, staying active, and being part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
Teach and supervise basic gymnastics activities for children. Assist with arts and crafts, games, and other camp activities. Follow the daily camp schedule and help keep transitions organized and on time. Provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for campers. Work collaboratively with fellow camp counselors to support the success of the program. Step in to help where needed and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children is preferred. Comfortable teaching or assisting with beginner-level gymnastics (training provided as needed). Reliable, flexible, and willing to adapt to the needs of the camp. Available Monday through Friday for morning and/or afternoon shifts. Willing to help cover schedule gaps, increased camper enrollment, staff call-outs, and other staffing needs as they arise. Strong communication skills and a positive, supportive attitude.
