Job Description

Overview Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job) The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant.

FUN:
Work passionately as a team to create a FUN experience both for everyone who works and plays here. Specific Responsibilities and Duties Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant. Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant. Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary. Review departmental status with Manager. Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) Ability to analyze and interpret operation results. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures. Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation. A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule. Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment. Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner. Educational Requirements Three (3) years' experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Board for the position. Physical Requirements Ability to work long hours. Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning. Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily. Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms. Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Working Conditions 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees. Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
