Camp Lohikan, a coed residential summer camp, is seeking college-aged Gymnastics Instructors and counselors for our gymnastics program. Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Camp Lohikan serves children ages 6-15 and offers more than 65 daily activities in sports, aquatics, adventure, and the arts. Position Overview As Gymnastics Instructor, you will:
- Coach and instruct campers in gymnastics ranging from beginner and recreational levels to advanced and competitive levels.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and safety-focused learning environment.
- Help campers build confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.
Additionally, when the day program is not operating you will live in cabin with campers grouped by age and gender. You will have a co-counselor, and you help supervise daily camp life for these children. Take part in camp activities, events, and evening programs Who We're Looking For Completed at least your freshman year of college Competed and/or participated in gymnastics at the high school, club, or college level Have experience with floor and mat routines, vaulting table, uneven bars, and balance beam.
