Activities Aide

Havencrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare located in Monongahela PA, is currently seeking an Activity Aide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in developing and carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs. Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities. Transport and escort residents safely to and from activities. Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and rooms in an organized and clean manner. Document resident attendance and participation in activities as required. Assist with special events, holiday programs, and outings. Provide companionship and support to residents who may not participate in group activities. Observe and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the Activities Director or nursing staff. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in activities, recreation, or working with the elderly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to assist with resident transfers and mobility during activities. Employment Type Full-time or Part-time; schedule based on facility needs.
