Job Description

Steps to Success is a non-profit child care company in Leola, PA. We have 2 locations across Lancaster County. We are currently looking for fun, motivated staff for our summer camp program in both school age and preschool. It will be running June 10-August 16!
Overview:
The Assistant Teacher is the immediate caregiver in the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience with children.
Duties:
(1) Assisting in the implementation of the daily activities under the guidance of the GS or Room Supervisor. (2) All responsibilities listed for Assistant Group Supervisors in the state regulations and center responsibilities as posted in each room.
Standard Requirements:
Staff Health Assessment (every 2 years), State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (every 5 years), Fire Safety Training (yearly), Water Safety Training (yearly if attending pool field trips), Pediatric First Aid (every 2 years), Mandated Reporter Training (every 5 years) and any additional required training's.

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
