Job Description

Join our compassionate, professional team at Horsham Center for Jewish Life, a 324-bed long-term care facility dedicated to promoting active, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyles for all residents. We are seeking a motivated and caring Full-Time Recreational Aide to support and engage residents in meaningful recreational and therapeutic activities. This role plays an important part in enhancing residents' quality of life through social, physical, cognitive, and emotional engagement. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities and programs Lead or support group and one-on-one activities for residents Encourage resident participation in daily activities and events Set up, clean up, and maintain activity areas and supplies Document resident participation and engagement as required Support therapeutic recreation goals in coordination with facility staff Provide a positive, encouraging, and respectful environment for all residents Assist with special events, outings, and holiday programs Qualifications Previous experience in recreation, activities, healthcare, or senior living preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds as needed Ability to assist with setup and movement of activity materials Benefits Competitive pay Full-time stable schedule Supportive and team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Healthcare and paid time off benefits available How to Apply Apply here or email your resume to Nye Little at N.Little@horshamhc.com for immediate consideration.
