Northampton Township Summer Camp Counselor-College Students/Graduates

Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young campers.

Duties:

• Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities
• Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and outdoor adventures
• Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal and social development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
• Assist with meal times, including serving food and monitoring dietary restrictions
• Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp experience

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom, daycare, or similar setting
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
• Ability to educate and mentor campers in various subjects or activities
• Experience in Christian counseling or teaching biblical principles (preferred)
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow staff members
