Summer Day Camp Counselor 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars The Buhl Child Development Center is hiring for several part time seasonal Summer Day Camp Counselors for summer 2026. This position would be responsible for day to day interactions with children ages 6-12. Working directly with the site supervisor and center director to execute daily activities, curriculum and lessons and working directly with parents and families. Some training will happen prior to start. Expected schedule would be Monday-Friday and shifts would fall between 7 am - 5:00 pm. This position requires a minimum of 2 years previous experience working with young children and knowledge of best practices for school age care. Good communication skills, organized and able to make quick decisions. Upon hire, the candidate is responsible for and must provide FBI Fingerprint Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance, CPR/FA as well as a Physical and TB test.
