Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Director to lead team members and execute our recreational programs within our campground. In this vital role, you will design, coordinate, and facilitate a wide variety of activities tailored to guests interests and needs, fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help enhance guests experience at Pioneer Lakes. this is a heavy activity based campground, the activity schedule is set for the season with some mandatory activities and others you can create based on the themed weekends. Responsibilities Plan, organize, lead and execute multiple team lead and self lead activities. Lead group activities with enthusiasm and fun energy Work with the General Manager to manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely implementation of programs. Foster strong relationships with the guests by providing updates on participation and encouraging family involvement in special events. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning and execution of activities either in a campground, hotel, school or other activity based setting. Creativity Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team. Computer literate or at least basic working knowledge is a must as all activities are face forward to guests on a campers Ap as well as excel spreadsheets. Ability to pivot and change plans quickly based on weather or other issues that may effect plans for the day. Must have a valid drivers license as well as personal transportation.
