Pay:
$17 an hour Job Description New Directions Childcare Center is seeking energetic, reliable, and creative individuals to join our Summer Program Team! This position works with school-age children (ages 5-12) in a fun, active, and engaging environment. Staff will participate in daily activities, field trips, and swimming outings while ensuring a safe and positive experience for all. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children ages 5-12 in daily activities Plan and lead fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times Attend and supervise children on field trips and swimming activities Maintain positive behavior and classroom management Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations Communicate effectively with staff, families, and leadership Assist with daily setup, cleanup, and organization Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Experience working with children preferred (camp, daycare, school, etc.) Strong communication and teamwork skills Energetic, patient, and dependable Comfortable supervising children in aquatic environments CPR/First Aid certification Must be willing to complete all trainings required by PA State Regulations. Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Monday-Friday (no weekends) Flexible shifts within program hours
