Join our Dynamic Living team and help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging activities, special events, outings, and memory support programming. We're hiring for multiple opportunities within our Dynamic Living department, including positions in both our traditional senior living neighborhoods and our Connections Memory Support neighborhood. Depending on the position and location, your responsibilities may include activity planning, resident engagement, memory support programming, and leading enriching experiences that promote purpose, dignity, and quality of life. Current Opportunities - Full-time Dayshift, with every other weekend
OFF:
Activities Assistant Support daily activities and events while encouraging resident participation. Assist with planning programs, outings, special events, and creating meaningful one-on-one interactions with residents. Dynamic Living Coordinator (Memory Support) Take a lead role in planning and facilitating engaging activities, coordinating special events, organizing community outings, and partnering with volunteers to deliver an exceptional resident experience. Connections Club Coordinator (Memory Support) Work closely with residents living with memory loss by leading structured daily meetings, cognitive engagement activities, memory support programming, and personalized experiences designed to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Overview of Activities Program Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate engaging daily activities, programs, and events. Encourage and motivate residents to participate in individual and group experiences. Generate creative ideas for new and favorite programs based on resident interests. Lead games, discussions, music, crafts, wellness activities, and cognitive exercises. Support specialized memory support programming, including structured daily meetings for residents living with memory loss. Coordinate community outings to restaurants, museums, theaters, sporting events, parks, and other destinations. Assist with planning special events and seasonal celebrations. Partner with volunteers to create meaningful resident experiences. Maintain required documentation of resident participation. Foster a positive, energetic, and welcoming environment that enhances residents' quality of life, dignity, and independence.
Activities Program Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Experience working with older adults, activities, recreation, hospitality, education, childcare, customer service, or memory care is preferred, but not required. Creative, compassionate, energetic, and engaging personality. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage individuals with varying abilities and interests. Valid driver's license with no major violations in the past three years. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
