Assistant Director - LRC (Part-Time) Louisburg, KS $20/hour | Part-Time About Us The LRC is a growing, community-focused space dedicated to supporting families, kids, and programs that build connection and growth. We're looking for a dependable, energetic Assistant Director to help lead day-to-day operations and support our team. Position Overview The Assistant Director plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting staff, and creating a welcoming, organized environment for families and children. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who enjoys both structure and flexibility. Responsibilities Support daily operations of the LRC Assist with staff supervision and scheduling Communicate with parents and handle questions or concerns Help plan and execute programs, events, or activities Maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment Step into leadership role when Director is unavailable Assist with general tasks as needed (this is a team-first role) Qualifications Previous experience in childcare, education, recreation, or a leadership role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized, proactive, and able to multitask Reliable and punctual Comfortable working with children and families Preferred (Not Required) Leadership or supervisory experience CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with scheduling or program coordination Schedule Part-time hours (flexible; may include some evenings or weekends) Why Join Us?
