• Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As an Activites Assistant, you will: Be passionate about working with and helping youth. Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision. Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same. Maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program clients while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors. Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.
