Non-Exempt Job Description:
This role will coordinate activities of paid and volunteer recreation service personnel for adult sports.
Examples of Duties:
Develops and promotes recreation programs, including social recreation and games for adults. Adapts recreation programs to meet needs of the department and the community. Introduces new program activities, equipment, and materials to staff. Interprets recreation service to public and participates in community meetings and organizational planning. Works in team with other recreation personnel to ensure that recreation is well balanced, coordinated, and integrated. Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Two years of related experience and/or training High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid state issued driver's license Ability to obtain CPR certification and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word or similar software.
