Recreation - Activities Seasonal Help

Job Purpose:

Elite Resort Group, Inc. on Hilton Head Island is accepting resumes for outgoing, energetic and personable part-time Recreation

• Activities seasonal help.

This position is responsible for conducting special activities and events at the resort. They are also responsible to help our guests enjoy relaxing, and doing healthy and fulfilling activities in a beautiful resort setting! Our team focused approach to resort management will be a good fit for the right team member.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform the recreation
• activities established at each resort; at Island Links, Port O'Call, Coral Reef and Coral Sands Resorts.
• This position will have hands-on interaction with our guests during the scheduled events.
• Work with the Recreation
• Activities Coordinator on all organizing and set-up of events.
• Follow all company policies, uniform policies and safety rules
• Attend all guests' events organized by Elite Resort Group and Hilton Head Guest Services, including: Welcome Breakfasts, Welcome Parties, etc.
• Communicate with Recreation
• Activities Coordinator & follow up any guest's requests in a timely manner, whether via e-mail, in person or via phone
• Make sure all supplies needed have been requested to the Recreation
• Activities Coordinator.
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the Recreation
• Activities Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Great customer services skills
• One year of hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:

• Good physical health
• Must be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to lift and/or carry 25 to 75 pounds.
• Expected to work a fluctuating work week, may be required to work evenings, weekends and additional hours in order to accommodate activities or guest requests for the resorts.
• This will be a seasonal position, with at least 30 hours a week.
• Individual must have own housing and transportation.
