  • Memphis, TN Part Time Weekends 9:00AM-4:30PM | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Activity Assistant to join our Life Enrichment Team in Memphis, Tennessee.
This unique opportunity allows you to make a difference with our residents, supporting their emotional well-being and enhancing their daily lives through meaningful engagement. Activity Aide Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in long-term care, social services, or activities is preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings for special events Activity Aide Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and carrying out recreational and therapeutic activities for residents under the direction of the Activity Director Engage residents in group and one-on-one programs to promote socialization, physical movement, and overall well-being Encourage residents to participation in activities based on individual interests, abilities, and care plans Help set up, transport, and escort residents to and from activity programs safely Provide support during outing, special events, and holiday celebrations Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and program areas in a clean and organized manner Document resident attendance, participation levels, and responses to activities as directed Communicate with nursing staff and other team members regarding resident needs and preferences Why Join Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center?
