2026 Philosophy Camp will run the 2nd and 3rd week of June 2026.Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.Preferred Qualifications:
CPR Certified. First Aid Certified. Experience working with children/ Camp worker experience.Responsibilities Camp Counselor:
At the direction of the Camp Director(s), provides instruction, demonstration, and assistance to campers Adheres to high standards and serves as a role model for our campers Participate in all aspects of camp life Assist instructors on campus during the day and will be responsible for keeping campers on-task and engaged during lessons, and panels. Who We Are The Department of Tea ching , Lea r ning and Culture (TLAC) encompasses students, faculty, and staff whose efforts and interests center on the many different aspects of academics, tea ching and classroom education. One of four departments in the College of Education and Human Development, TLAC is currently home to over 1200 undergraduate students, about 400 graduate students, 47 faculty members and 26 staff members. Our mission is to create experiences that advance tea ching , research, and service through the application of knowledge in the preparation and development of quality educators, placing high value on collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, democratic governance, and global leadership.
