Tuesday - Friday | 7:30am - 4pm during all scheduled kamp sessions

Job Summary:

The Kidz Kamp Counselor plays an essential role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for all kampers. Counselors are responsible for supervising children, assisting with daily activities and supporting Kamp Directors in delivering a high-quality summer experience that promotes creativity, confidence and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Supervise kampers at all times, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging environment Assist with leading daily activities, including crafts, STEM, sports, swimming and themed events Support activity transitions, including escorting groups to tennis, golf and pool sessions Actively supervise children in the swimming pool during scheduled swim time each day, ensuring safety and engagement Help with daily operations such as setup, cleanup, check-in/out and snack/lunch distribution Follow the daily schedule and maintain smooth transitions between activities Observe camper behavior, encourage teamwork, and reinforce positive interactions Communicate kamper needs, incidents, or concerns promptly to Kamp Directors Maintain a high level of energy, professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the day Ensure all safety protocols are followed and respond appropriately to emergency situations Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Kamp Directors.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children (camp, childcare, coaching, or education preferred) Ability to engage and interact positively with children of varying ages Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, punctual and responsible Comfortable working outdoors and in active environments

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk and remain active for extended periods Ability to assist in outdoor and aquatic activities Ability to lift and carry light equipment or supplies
