Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outfitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their retail needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve sales, customer service, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring that our store is well-organized and inviting for customers. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them in finding products. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Basic math skills required for handling transactions and retail math applications. Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling best practices is essential. A general knowledge and a passion for firearms and outdoor activities and knowledge of related products is required because that is our business.
