POSITION SUMMARY
The Activities Assistant supports the Activities Director in planning and facilitating recreational programs and events for residents. This role assists with a variety of activities designed to promote engagement, socialization, and overall well-being, including arts and crafts, music, games, and other group activities. Responsibilities Assist in identifying ways activities can promote resident engagement, well-being, and a sense of belonging. Assist with conducting needs assessments as needed. Assist in determining residents' individual interests and expectations regarding leisure activities. Assist with purchasing or leasing supplies for activity programs. Assist with promoting and advertising events prior to scheduled activities. Assist with supervising and participating in activities and events alongside staff and residents. Assist with compiling periodic reports outlining successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Perform other duties as assigned by the Activities Director. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer literate with working knowledge of budgeting tools. Positive, communicative, and empathetic demeanor. Committed to promoting resident well-being and enjoyment. Willingness to work weekends.
