On-Site Sports Event Coordinator U90C Sports Management Richardson, TX Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Interpersonal skills Attention to detail Events management Guest services Event activities coordination Full Job Description Excellent opportunity to gain experience in the Sports / Event Management industry in a part-time / contract role. Assist in all on-site "game day" activities for regional youth soccer tournaments/leagues. Required availability would include Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Some pre-event availability (planning, pre-event meetings, etc.) would also be required. Job would require travel to soccer complexes in McKinney, Plano, Melissa, and potentially the Fort Worth area.
Duties / Activities include:
On-site representative that is visible and available to assist coaches and team managers Communicate effectively with coaches, managers and parents Assist Tournament Director and Event Manager in all on-site activities and coordination On-site assets set-up / tear down Monitor field / facility activity Concierge service (deliver bottled water, provide golf cart transport, etc.) Recognize core competencies of U90C and make decisions that reflect those competencies: "PRIDE | RESPECT |

" Qualification Able to work independently and as a motivated team player Interact in a professional, enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing manner with management, clients and consumers in any setting / environment Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions Ability to work long hours on "game day" for scheduled tournament/league dates (typical hours on a tournament event weekend are: Friday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 7am-10:30pm, Sunday 7am-8:30pm) (typical hours for a soccer league weekend are: Saturday 7AM-8PM, Sunday 7AM-6:30PM) Ability to perform some physical labor (hang banners, transport coolers, event asset set-up, golf cart transport, etc.) Adaptable to business and team needs and changes Desire to expand one's knowledge of the Sports / Event Management industry in a fun, entrepreneurial environment
