As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of recreational activities and events for people of all ages. This includes everything from sports tournaments/leagues, movie nights, summer camps and much more. Your duties will include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive recreation program that meets the diverse interests and needs of our community. Collaborating with other staff members, volunteers, and community organizations to plan and promote events and activities. Coordinating logistics, such as scheduling, and budgeting. Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants by adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Evaluating the effectiveness of the recreation program and making recommendations for improvement. Providing excellent customer service to participants, parents, and community members. The ideal candidate for this position will have: High School Diploma or equivalent Pursuing a degree in Recreation preferred but not required Experience planning and organizing recreational activities and events Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
