Use this link to apply: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScsTpy0wbF3eGqEvrdQAV1SW8rk5HdUHfOCmR7B49c9jw36YQ/viewform?usp=header Lead Camp Counselor - Summer 2026 Position Summary The Lead Camp Teacher provides Christ-centered leadership, supervision, and instruction for campers in Spring Creek Baptist Church's Summer Camp program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that reflects our focus on "Christ, Community, Culture, and Cultivation of Learning."​ Dates & Schedule Employment dates: June 8 - August 14, 2026 (must be available for all camp weeks)​ Additional required training days prior to the start of camp Approximately 32-40 hours per week; specific schedule to be determined by program needs Compensation $16 per hour Full-time (32-40hours per week), 10 week position Qualifications At least 18 years of age Minimum 1 year of programmatic childcare, camp, or classroom experience working with children CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)​ Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and alignment with the mission of Spring Creek Baptist Church Two professional references required (supervisors, ministry leaders, or employers who can speak to your work with children and character). Successfully complete required background check and drug screening in accordance with church policy. Key Responsibilities Lead daily camp activities, including Bible time, Fruit of the Spirit lessons, academic enrichment, recreation, and field trips. Lead engaging daily Bible lessons and faith-building activities that support spiritual and social-emotional growth. Incorporate fun math, science, reading, and journaling activities to promote summer learning.​ Supervise and participate in all camp activities, including swim days, sports, games, arts, field trips, and special events.​ Provide direct supervision and care for assigned group of campers, ensuring safety and adherence to camp policies at all times.​ Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camp activities, concerns, and camper progress, modeling Christlike care and professionalism.​ Collaborate with camp staff and volunteers to create a positive, inclusive, and fun camp culture.​ Support and celebrate community and culture through purposeful field trips, service opportunities, and outreach experiences. Assist with behavior management, documenting and communicating any significant concerns to the Camp Director, and implementing appropriate strategies to encourage positive behavior.​ In the absence of the Camp Director, provide leadership support as assigned.​ Assistant Camp Counselor - Summer 2026 Position Summary The Assistant Camp Teacher supports the Lead Camp Teacher in providing a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment for campers, helping implement daily activities and maintaining positive relationships with children and families.​ Dates & Schedule Employment dates: June 8 - August 14, 2026 (must be available for all camp weeks)​ Additional required training days prior to the start of camp Approximately 20 hours per week; schedule set by Camp Director Compensation $15 per hour Full-time (20 hours per week), 10 week position Qualifications At least 18 years of age​ Minimum 6 months of programmatic childcare, camp, or classroom experience​ CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)​ Demonstrated Christian faith and willingness to support the mission of Spring Creek Baptist Church Two references required (at least one should be a supervisor, teacher, or ministry leader; the second may be another adult who knows you well in a work, school, or church context). Successfully complete required background check and drug screening in accordance with church policy. Key Responsibilities Assist with implementing daily camp activities, including Bible time, Fruit of the Spirit lessons, academic enrichment, recreation, and field trips. Support Lead Camp Teacher in supervising campers, ensuring safety and positive behavior.​ Help facilitate fun math and science activities, daily reading, and journaling.​ Participate in and help supervise swim days, sports, games, arts, and special on-site events.​ Assist with transitions, setup/cleanup of activities, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.​ Communicate courteously with parents/guardians as directed by the Lead Teacher or Camp Director.​ Report concerns regarding camper behavior, learning, or safety to the Lead Teacher and Camp Director and help implement strategies to encourage positive behavior and engagement.​

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
