Th is position is vital to the continued safe operations of our indoor pool and spa at the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center . We are looking for a safety-first coordinator with the soft skills to build relationships with all levels of our organization . Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and an ability to set the leadership example for the site aquatic staff . ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Swim Lesson Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe and delivery of effective and community-based aquatic programming based off demands and need at the Chin n Aquatics and Fitness center. The main charge for the position is oversight of our swim lesson program, and the aquatics instructor staff at the center while maintaining the highest safety standards and exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate would have:
3+ years of experience working in aquatics. A bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation, Business Management/Administration, Public Administration, or related field 2+ years of supervisory experience Experience with Ellis & Associates Proven experience in leading and training aquatics staff
Starting Payrate :
$23.25 MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or
G.E.D. 1
year of aquatic experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS A
valid Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification is a must .
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Typical schedule varies based on operational needs, typically in between 8:00am - 9:00pm Monday-Thursday, and 8:00am - 1:00pm on the weekends .
