Conducts inventory, maintains inventory controls and maintains equipment for proper accountability of program equipment and resources. Assists in day-to-day administrion of multiple programs to which assigned. Tasks include submission of event after-action reports, pronage da collection and entering program da. Performs community outreach Researches and provides informion and referral for a variety of recreional opportunities for individuals/families on and off the base. Responsibilities further entail the issuance of game equipment, general housekeeping, bowling program and program support Must be able to handle cash and opere a point of sale system. Incumbent must be capable of driving a 15 passenger van Other duties as assigned Requirements Help Conditions of employment Must have practical work experience including direct customer service and handling cash utilizing a point-of-sale system. Irregular working hours required to include early shift, le shift, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have and maintain a valid ste drivers' license. Incumbent must pass all applicable records and background checks. Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain the following certificions within 90 days of hire: Cardiopulmonary Resuscition (CPR) and First Aid Certificion Food Handler certificion (where food is prepared) Alcohol safety training (where alcohol is served) Qualificions Knowledge of the goals, principles, techniques and procedures used in organizing, planning and conducting leisure time activities. Knowledge of the Navy MWR mission, the scope of Community Recreion activities and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages and interests. Knowledge of MWR policies, rules, and regulions reled to the assigned work area. Knowledge of cash handling procedures. Knowledge of basic arithmetic to compute charges, disperse change accurely, and prepare reports. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and others as they rele to fitness, sports and aquics programming. Skill in planning and carrying out an enhanced program in the recreion specialty area which meets the needs of the participing community. Skill in providing excellent customer service obtained through prior experience and training. Ability to competently and independently carry out day to day recreion operions. Ability to organize, plan, administer special events and entertainment activities. Ability to maintain records, compile and organize da for reports.
