General Responsibilities:
Works directly with the Training Director on special projects, such as safety meeting coordination and documentation; course enrollment, from inquiry response to registration; assists with record processing and archival of student records; provides phone coverage when the office administrator or director is teaching live or virtually or is otherwise unavailable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Training Director in any & all aspects of meeting the Training Program's needs. Most tasks will be delegated in coordination with the training office team. Providing consistent & excellent customer service, which reflects our guiding principle that every student matters, has intrinsic value, and with the right training has the potential for providing excellent community care. Enrolling students in the appropriate training classes by providing customer assistance from initial training inquiry through the registration paperwork, sending course reminder emails, and processing credit card and cash payments. Supporting the front office staff by making copies of all training materials and course requirement documentation for weekly training classes and processing and scanning class documents for archival. Coordinating monthly safety meetings and activities, researching appropriate subjects, and providing simple handouts on each topic, documenting the meeting by completing and archiving minutes, handouts, safety assessments, or safety drill activity, and sending it to the appropriate corporate safety. Serving as hospitality coordinator on class days, by greeting students, setting up, and replenishing coffee services and snacks area. Performing other duties as assigned by the Training Director to support the training team
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or
GED, HCA
Course Completion Required:
High school diploma or
GED DSHS
background clearance required. Customer-service oriented Has basic computer keyboarding skills and ability to work effectively with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as training and registration software. Ability to work with a cheerful outlook and to help where needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Acceptance of people from various economic, social, and cultural backgrounds. Reliable, part-time, and trustworthy. Professional affect and appearance. Ability to work well in a team environment and with minimal supervision
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Active HCA-C or NAC credential Experience in long-term care settings Willing to become DSHS-approved Community Instructor or CPR Instructor Has an A.S. or B.S degree Previous office experience Flexible schedule
Schedule:
Part Time:
20-25 hours a week as needed.
Compensation:
$21-$24/hr Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure
