Full Job Description Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Job description: Job description: Legacy1864 is a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing care to our elderly and dementia residents. We serve 20-25 residents at our Assisted Living, located in North Spokane. We work with high medical needs as well as Traumatic Brain injury clients. Our team is positive, uplifting, and has a supportive and involved management team. Currently looking for an experienced Activities & Behavioral Support Assistant to help prep and implement PT, crafts, games, activities, small groups, and Behavioral support activities with our residents. Our activities, care, and food service teams work together to make our residents lives fun and engaging.

Schedule:

Friday-Sunday 8a.m.- 4 p.m.

Wage:

$20-$23 per hour

Responsibilities:

Having fun with our residents! Engaging as many residents as possible to participate in daily activities program and schedule Providing and exciting and upbeat morning PT hour Crafts, Bingo, Art therapy, Nail/Salon, Sports club, and many other FUN experiences Small groups for Dementia with sensory and therapeutic touch Driving 12 residents a week in the company bus to fun outings (weather permitting) Assistance/support/engagement at mealtimes Resident outings, hosting entertainment in the facility, and facility events and seasonal/holiday parties Implement Behavioral Support Program and Individual Behavior Support Plans Filling out appropriate paperwork Inventorying/shopping and craft prep The right team member possesses the following requirements: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department Must perform proficiently and competently with our clients and team Excellent communication and team work Be organized and efficient, engaging and fun! Works well with a team Be able to pass criminal background check and drug testing Valid driver's license Authorization to work in the United States Finger print screening Able to pass a random drug test Able to obtain a T.B. skin test We look forward to interviewing with you!
