Job Description

The Activity Assistant job responsibilities include planing, organizing, and implementing recreational and social events to enhance the well-being of residents with a goal of promoting regular socialization and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of the Activity Director you will help organize, plan, and execute a well-balanced activity program Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games Generate positivity and encourage resident participation Work with all departments to ensure resident needs are being met Assess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly Activity Assistant Qualifications A positive attitude and a willingness to learn Previous experience working with the elderly preferred Previous experience in an activity's role preferred What's in it for you?
