Activities Director

The Wyngate Senior Living Community in Parkersburg, W.V is looking for an outgoing, fun loving, motivated person to work in our assisted living community as the Activity Director. This position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing the activity calendar for our senior residents. We strive to have an environment where our residents thrive with a fun and active lifestyle. This position will work with other department managers, assistants and volunteers to deliver a wide range of activities for our residents. Candidates must have a naturally pleasant disposition, be outgoing, like having fun, and enjoy working with seniors. They must also have a clean driving record; in order to drive our 15 passenger van (no CDL is needed).

Ideal candidates will have:

✔ Experience working with in senior living community/home ✔ Experience in planning big and small events for groups of people ✔ Can work with a group as well as individually to get goals accomplished This is a full-time 40 hour a week position.
