Activity Coordinator Position Summary Assist the Activity Coordinator in providing activities programs for all residents, responsible for helping with physical, educational, or social activities in a variety of settings. Duties will revolve around assisting residents or patients with use of equipment, and planning and monitoring their participation in various activities and outings. Essential Functions Assists the Activity Coordinator in the planning, development, and implementation of activities/programs which enrich the lives of the residents. Develop and lead small, medium and large group activities. Contribute to residents' care planning: assessments, care plan goals and approaches, and progress notes. Assist with documentation. Conduct one-to-one programs. Assist with field trips and outings, which may require the operation of a company vehicle. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications/Education High School Diploma or GED Current CPR and First Aid Certificates Current driver's license (must be 21 years of age due to CCMSD insurance policy stipulations) WY CNA License Experience Previous experience in a long term care setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent patient care skills. Professional and discrete manner at all times. Ability to communicate effectively and verbally as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently and with supervision. Good driving record and ability to drive safely in various weather conditions. Hours of Work 20 hours per week, rotating holidays, every other weekend
