Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Travel Agent specializing in airline ticketing to join our office-based team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ARC procedures or hold an ARC Specialist Certificate. This role focuses exclusively on airline reservations, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, and customer support related to air travel. Key Responsibilities Book and issue domestic and international airline tickets. Process ticket exchanges, reissues, refunds, and voids accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with ARC regulations, airline policies, and industry standards. Manage passenger name records (PNRs) and maintain accurate booking documentation. Research and provide the best available airfare options based on customer requirements. Handle schedule changes, cancellations, and travel disruptions. Assist customers with fare rules, baggage policies, airline regulations, and travel requirements. Maintain accurate records of transactions and ticketing activities. Work with GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport to manage reservations and ticketing. Deliver professional customer service while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in airline reservations and ticketing. Experience working with ARC-accredited agencies and ARC reporting processes; or ARC Specialist Certificate. Strong understanding of airline fare construction, ticketing rules, exchanges, and refunds. Experience using Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, or similar GDS systems. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with international ticketing and complex itineraries. Knowledge of airline contracts and negotiated fares. Additional travel industry certifications are a plus.
