Job Description
Nobu, the world-renowned Japanese restaurant is an upscale dining destination known for exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and memorable guest experiences. We are seeking a professional, organized, and guest-focused Reservationist to be the first point of contact for our valued guests. The Reservationist manages all guest reservations and inquiries while delivering a warm, polished, and professional experience. This role is essential in ensuring smooth dining room operations, maximizing seating efficiency, and maintaining the high service standards expected in a fine dining environment. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls and respond to reservation inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Manage reservations using Open Table (must have experience) Accurately record guest preferences, special occasions, dietary requirements, and VIP notes. Coordinate closely with management, hosts, and dining room staff to optimize seating and guest flow. Handle guest concerns and special requests with discretion and professionalism. Maintain detailed and accurate reservation records. Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and confidentiality. Qualifications Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant with high call volume. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
