Job Title Airline Agent - Sales, Reservations, Ticketing, Groups & Sales Support Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to handle sales, reservations, ticketing, group bookings, and sales support functions for our airline operations. The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of airline systems (e.g., GDS/CRS), and the ability to deliver excellent service to individual and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Reservations & Ticketing Manage flight reservations through GDS/airline systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or equivalent). Issue, revalidate, reissue, and refund tickets in compliance with airline policies. Handle special service requests (SSR) such as meals, seating, and wheelchair assistance. Provide accurate fare quotations and upsell ancillary services (baggage, upgrades, etc.). Sales & Customer Service Promote airline products, offers, and loyalty programs to customers and travel partners. Handle inquiries from travel agencies, corporate clients, and direct passengers. Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth. Assist walk-in clients and respond to calls/emails with professional service. Group Bookings & Support Manage group travel requests, quotations, and confirmations. Coordinate with airline sales offices and revenue management for group seat allocation. Prepare group contracts and ensure timely deposits, ticket issuance, and final payments. Support travel trade partners with group policies and promotional fares. Sales Support & Reporting Assist the sales team with fare sheets, promotional materials, and corporate proposals. Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales, and ticketing transactions. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for management. Provide administrative support for sales campaigns, roadshows, and trade events. Qualifications & Skills Minimum diploma/degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in airline reservations, ticketing, or travel agency sales (preferred). Proficiency in GDS/CRS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of airline fares, rules, and ticketing procedures (IATA certification is an advantage). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
