Job Description

PM Kitchen Manager (Evening Kitchen Lead) Position Summary The PM Kitchen Manager is responsible for leading all back-of-house operations during evening service. This role ensures smooth execution, high food quality, team accountability, and a clean, organized kitchen. You'll act as the on-the-ground leader during peak hours—driving speed, consistency, and a great team culture. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. We're building something fun and community-driven, and we want leaders who bring energy, accountability, and a little personality to the kitchen. Key Responsibilities Service Leadership Lead and manage all kitchen operations during PM service Expedite orders and ensure ticket times meet standards Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation Troubleshoot issues in real-time during high-volume service Team Management Supervise, coach, and develop line cooks and prep staff Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to standards Assist with training new hires and reinforcing systems Foster a positive, respectful, high-performance culture Operations & Execution Ensure prep is completed and stocked for service Manage station setup, organization, and breakdown Monitor waste and portion control Enforce recipes, systems, and kitchen standards Food Safety & Cleanliness Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Ensure proper food handling, labeling, and storage Lead nightly cleaning and closing procedures Inventory & Communication Communicate product needs, shortages, and 86'd items Assist with inventory tracking and ordering as needed Coordinate with AM team for smooth shift transitions Qualifications 2+ years kitchen leadership experience (lead line cook, sous chef, or KM) Strong understanding of high-volume service and ticket flow Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure Solid knowledge of food safety standards Strong communication and leadership skills Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays What We're Looking For Someone who leads from the front—not the office A coach who builds people up while maintaining standards Organized, fast, and detail-oriented Takes pride in clean kitchens and consistent food Thrives in a fun but high-expectation environment
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
