Event Staff | Alabama | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule About Us Greenawalt Hospitality is a leading hospitality company providing beverage service solutions across weddings, festivals, sporting events, and premium hospitality experiences. Job Summary The Event Manager (Bar Operations) is responsible for managing all bar operations at a designated venue. This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented leader who can oversee staff, ensure compliance, and deliver efficient, high-quality bar service that meets client and guest expectations. Key Responsibilities Bar Operations Management Manage all aspects of bar operations at the assigned venue, including staffing and service execution Ensure bars are properly stocked, prepared, and set up for each event Maintain high standards of beverage quality, consistency, and presentation Inventory & Financial Management Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Implement inventory tracking processes to reduce waste and prevent loss Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales accurately Prepare sales reports and support basic budgeting efforts Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws and regulations Enforce company policies, health standards, and safety procedures Maintain a safe and compliant working environment at all times Client & Guest Experience Engage with clients to understand event needs and service expectations Address guest inquiries and resolve service-related issues professionally Collaborate with event coordinators to align bar service with event goals Participate in planning meetings as needed Flexibility & Event Support Support additional events when not scheduled at the primary venue Adapt to varying event types, locations, and service requirements Standards, Training, & Accountability Uphold company standards for service, professionalism, and execution Ensure team members follow proper procedures and expectations Promote accountability, organization, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in bar management, event management, or hospitality Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Experience with POS systems and inventory management tools Knowledge of beverages, bar operations, and mixology Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Pay $15 per hour + tips and gratuity Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Greenawalt Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
