Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and take the lead in delivering exceptional dining experiences! This energetic role is perfect for passionate hospitality professionals eager to showcase their management skills, culinary knowledge, and customer service expertise. As an integral part of our restaurant leadership, you'll oversee daily operations, motivate staff, ensure food quality and safety, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift transitions to ensure smooth service flow. Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service standards, POS systems (such as TOAST), and food safety protocols. Oversee inventory control, food handling, and food production processes to maintain quality standards while minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports. Monitor kitchen and front-of-house activities to uphold cleanliness, safety regulations, and hospitality standards. Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training & development initiatives. Manage customer feedback proactively to enhance service quality and resolve any issues promptly. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with health regulations to optimize restaurant performance. Experience Proven management experience within a fast-paced food service environment, preferably with casual dining or quick service restaurants. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as TOAST; familiarity with cash handling procedures. Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles. Strong background in food safety standards, inventory control, and food industry best practices. Experience with staff training & development, team management, and shift supervision. Previous hotel or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with fine dining or banquet settings is advantageous. $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
