Job Overview We are growing fast and are seeking a dynamic and passionate Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This energetic leader will drive excellence in food quality, safety, and service, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management, with proven skills in team leadership, inventory control, and menu planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire culinary creativity while maintaining efficient kitchen workflows in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on high standards of food quality and service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Manage inventory levels, control food costs, and oversee procurement to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste. Develop innovative menus that highlight culinary trends and meet dietary needs, ensuring variety and customer satisfaction. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures across all kitchen operations. Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless service for special events and large parties. Monitor shift schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and manage labor costs to optimize productivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times through regular inspections and compliance checks. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management within the food industry. Strong knowledge of inventory management, control procedures, and food handling safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork under pressure. Experience with banquet operations, dietary accommodations, and shift management. Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation, cooking techniques, and hospitality standards including bartending skills is a plus.
