Shift Leader/Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Leader to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. Duties Supervise daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and standards. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist in managing staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards. Coordinate banquet services and special events as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock. Implement budgeting practices to control costs effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in restaurant management or food management is preferred. Knowledge of budgeting practices within a food service context. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and bartending is a plus. Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is beneficial. Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
