General Manager - Restaurant

Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support efficient food production and minimize waste. Supervise and train staff on food handling, safety protocols, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service standards. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours while controlling labor costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation procedures. Conduct interviewing, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce. Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to maximize profitability. Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences across casual dining, fine dining, catering, or bar services as applicable. Qualifications Proven management experience with a minimum of 2 years as a GM within the food service industry, particularly in ; casual dining or fine dining experience is preferred. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of staff training & development and team management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Knowledge of inventory control procedures, budgeting principles, and food production processes. Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Hospitality management or hotel experience is advantageous; culinary experience or barista/coffee expertise is a plus.
