Overview Are you a passionate culinary leader ready to take charge of a dynamic kitchen environment? We're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of food operations, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and service. This role offers full P&L (Profit & Loss) ownership, empowering you to drive financial performance while fostering a vibrant team culture. Duties Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and high standards. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including cooks, prep chefs, and support personnel, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary considerations and customer preferences. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup. Monitor shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands while maintaining quality service. Maintain detailed records of food costs, sales performance, and operational metrics for full P&L accountability. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant setting with strong leadership skills. Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food production, menu planning, and food handling techniques. Background in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred. Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and dietary department procedures. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations (including HACCP standards). Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability through effective P&L ownership. Excellent communication skills with experience supervising diverse teams in fast-paced settings. Prior experience in restaurant management or food service management roles is highly desirable.
