The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with expertise in both quick service and fine dining environments. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage daily operations efficiently. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Manage staff training and development, fostering a positive work environment. Supervise kitchen management and food preparation processes to maintain food safety and quality standards. Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and sales tracking. Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu items that enhance customer satisfaction. Manage shift schedules and oversee team management during peak hours. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and budgeting. Experience with various POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on training & development of staff. Background in fine dining or casual dining environments preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Culinary experience or kitchen management background is advantageous. Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is essential.
