In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-focused environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and management skills while contributing to the success of a dynamic food service operation. Duties Oversee all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety procedures, proper food handling, and culinary techniques Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operational flow during busy hours Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards through regular inspections and documentation Lead staff hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to develop a high-performing team Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and budget oversight within a restaurant context Strong leadership abilities with experience in staff training, team development, and interviewing candidates Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and promptly Previous experience managing shifts in a high-volume restaurant environment is highly desirable Culinary experience complemented by knowledge of catering, banquet operations or hotel food service is advantageous Join us as a Kitchen Manager to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
