Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of culinary knowledge, management expertise, and the ability to foster a positive work environment for staff while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation. Supervise and train staff in all aspects of restaurant operations, including food handling, customer service, and cash handling. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste. Implement effective training and development programs for new hires and existing staff to enhance skills and performance. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Utilize POS systems (TOAST) for order processing and financial transactions. Develop budgets and manage financial performance to achieve operational goals. Foster a positive dining experience by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely food production and quality control. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
MOST IMPORTANTLY...HAVE FUN
Experience Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining experiences is preferred. Experience with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated ability in team management, shift management, and supervising staff effectively. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including budgeting and financial oversight. Culinary experience is a plus; barista or coffee experience is advantageous for establishments serving beverages. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on training & development of team members. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
