Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a full-time manager to train under the restaurant general manager that is personable and not afraid to learn all the tasks at Firehouse Subs in the NW Tucson area. Someone that can commit to flexible shifts including closing shifts and takes cleanliness and order accuracy seriously. Excellent customer service is required. The perfect candidate is a person that has fast casual restaurant experience, does not need to be told to do a task in between customers, has great attention to detail. They will participate in all duties of the restaurant to keep the 'A' score of a top franchise. This opportunity is for the person that wants to continue advancement as a top restaurant manager that will eventually run the restaurant. Priority is a team environment that follows the standards of food safety and Firehouse Subs recipes as well as exceptional customer service. A strong sense of profitability awareness is required. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to enhance their dining experience Assist customers with menu options and supporting our Foundation collection opportunities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Stock shelves, FIFO items, and ensure the restaurant is clean, tidy, and well-presented Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and maintaining visual standards - Customer, Lobby, Everything Else... Conduct basic inventory checks, restock items, and assist the general manager with ordering as needed Use strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure restaurant goals are met Take charge of catering orders when needed Assist shift leads/team members with scheduling needs Experience Previous restaurant sales or customer service experience is required w/shift lead experience preferred; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key! Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and fast casual restaurant operations is advantageous Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell products will help you succeed in this role Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations This energetic role invites motivated individuals eager to develop their restaurant manager expertise in a supportive environment.
