We are seeking a skilled Assistant General Manager to help spearhead the operations at one of our Burmese/Southeast Asian restaurants located in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a high-volume upper finer casual dining restaurant, with a strong passion for hospitality, food and beverage helping us embody our commitment to pushing culinary boundaries while celebrating the rich tapestry of Southeast Asian cuisine. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the restaurant operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and achieving financial goals. Skills and Qualifications:

? 3-4 years management experience in a high-volume upper finer casual dining (mandatory) ? Strong understanding of P&L management ? Active Food Handlers, Sexual Harassment and Alcohol Beverage Control (RBS) certifications ? Asian cuisine experience is a plus ? Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations ? Proven ability to train, lead and motivate diverse Front-of-House (FOH) team ? Experience with Toast, POS systems, ADP, Opentable, Doordash, Ubereats ? Working knowledge of google spreadsheets and docs a plus ? Knowledge of wine and beverage service a plus

Responsibilities:

1.

Operations Management:

o Supervise daily restaurant operations including Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) activities o Monitor adherence of health, safety and food quality standards o Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized and fully operational during shifts 2.

Customer Service:

o Model and enforce exceptional customer service practices o Address and resolve guests' complaints in a professional manner o Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience 3.

Staff Leadership:

o Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring restaurant staff o Prepare employee schedules and cover shift coverage o Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or corrective action when necessary 4.

Financial Oversight:

o Assist in managing budgets, controlling labor costs, and analyzing sales trends o Support inventory management, ordering and cost control processes o Collaborate with General Manager on promotional campaigns and events 5.

Team Collaboration:

o Foster a positive team-orientated work environment o Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers and management o Ensure alignment of team goals with company objectives
