We are expanding into catering services in the greater Sacramento area and are looking for an early leader to help shape this new division from the ground up. The role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Event Manager to oversee our catering operations and deliver an exceptional experience for every client. This is a unique opportunity to build something from scratch — the ideal candidate will have the vision and drive to set the standard for how we serve our customers. Responsibilities Develop and implement catering strategies that improve service delivery and client satisfaction Coordinate all aspects of catering events — menu selection, staffing, logistics, and setup Upsell additional services and products to clients during the planning process Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during events Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items Maintain accurate records of budgets, expenses, and event details for future reference Supervise catering staff during events to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in real time Qualifications Proven experience in catering or banquet event management, including off-premise catering Strong background in event planning, project management, and client service Familiarity with budgeting, contract negotiation, and vendor management Prior culinary or chef experience strongly preferred
Benefits Pay:
From $50,000 per year Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, staffing, logistics, and setup
