$20 to $26 + tips ($8 to $10+ per hour)
Estimated Total Earnings:
$57,000 - $69,000 annually (including tips)

Full Time About the Role Café Managers are the on-site leaders responsible for daily operations, team performance and accountability, and the overall guest experience within a single location. This role ensures the café operates with consistency across product quality, customer connection, and visual presentation. You lead the team on the floor, maintain operational flow, and support financial performance through disciplined execution. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and a hands-on approach to service and culture. Café Managers are essential in translating the company's standards into daily execution with the support of the Operations Managers. Role Mindset You lead from the floor on a daily basis with consistency, intention, and care. You take ownership of your store, ensuring every detail from coffee quality to team communication and culture reflects our 3 pillars of success. You set the tone for the team through calm leadership, fairness, and clarity, creating an environment where people feel supported, educated, and aligned. You act quickly when something is not aligned, maintaining standards across product, customer service, and culture at all times. Our Focus At The Boy & The Bear, our operations are guided by three pillars of success:
OCV:
Overall Coffee Visuals Presentation, cleanliness, and visual standards across our coffee program. Warm Customer Service and Barista Knowledge Hospitality, education, and confident communication about coffee. Product Quality Consistency Sourcing integrity, and excellence from brewing to presentation in every cup. The Cafe Manager holds primary responsibility for maintaining and elevating product quality, which is one of the three core pillars of the company at your particular cafe. Through careful sourcing, rigorous quality control, effective training, and strong production oversight, this role ensures that every coffee served or sold by The Boy & The Bear always reflects the standards that define our brand. The Cafe Manager plays a critical role in holding TB&TB;'s quality standards, improving operational cafe efficiency, and supporting the continued growth of your team. Qualifications 3+ years experience in specialty coffee Strong skills in espresso, milk texture, and manual brewing Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment Consistent execution of product quality and presentation standards Warm, professional, and confident communication Strong attention to detail and organization Aligned with The Boy & The Bear's values of care, design, and craft General Role Overview Lead daily operations with consistency, speed, and attention to detail Maintain product quality, recipes, and presentation standards across all shifts Execute and uphold OCV and store presentation at all times Support team performance, motivation, and on-shift training Ensure strong customer experience and handle guest feedback in real time Maintain operational flow and readiness during all service periods Monitor store performance and support financial discipline at the shift level Communicate store needs, issues, and opportunities to the Operations Manager How to Apply Send us an email with your resume in PDF format to: and We are an equal-opportunity employer.
